Serious Lagging

I've noticed my MT4G lags and it's been getting worse. Sometimes it'll go to sleep and only moments later when I go to wake it up no key will wake it. I have to leave it sit (usually count to ten -- both for the phone and to calm me down so I don't throw it across the room) and then try again. Also it takes time to switch between screens, pull up the camera, downloads/installs from the market take FOREVER

I don't have excessive apps -- the biggest is probably angry bird. I do run Go Launcher UI/SMS/Contacts, but I've had them well before this issue came up.
