Greetings Android Users:
I have been agonizing about whether to keep either the LG G3 or the Galaxy S5. My impressions so far after a couple of days use of each is:
1) Screen on the s5 in spite of lower resolution, is more vibrant and bright and I like the waterproof idea.
2) Camera (low light), reception( tough spots), battery life ( movie at full brightness for 1 hour - g3 - 6% S5 - 26% ) , back buttons instead
of on the side of phone, larger screen, knock wakeup, All make the G3 much superior.
To me it is a no brainer for the G3. HOWEVER, the voice mate is absolute crap ( I don't get it ). How can such a great phone have such a crippled function in comparison to the s5.. Where is the CAR MODE or anything that resembles it? Why do I have to repeat again and again things and it does not pick it up? Why when I ask it for text messages, it just says that I got one from a person, but will not read it and there is no command to read them? What is going on here ? The S5 is flawless in regard to voice commands toward the phone. Am I missing something here? Would LG overlook such a crucial function of these two very comparable phones?
As a side note - Google voice "Hello Google" is very similar in ability on both phones.
Help Please.
Brad
