Seriously, why has there been no significant leaks of KitKat features?

It's like nobody knows what to expect. Has Google always been able to maintain such levels secrecy? Has it been like this in the past also? Other than those two leaked screen shots of the dialer and messages app, we pretty much know nothing about KitKat. I want some KitKat tidbits, damnit and I am not just talking about the chocolate!

Android OS releases are always secretive except 4.3 ROM which got leaked. Thanks to Samsung & HTC's GPE phones

Apart from some minor feature rumors/leak Google is good at keeping Android features secret.

its almost mid october and we havent heard or seen a single thing. either this is going to be an amazing release/announcement or theyre just slacking off and enjoy teasing

Just want to quickly mention that the Wireless Display options aren't new, though I've seen it 'reported' as such on more than one website. The option appeared in 4.2, and uses the Miracast standard.

Keep already comes integrated in 4.3..

As far as I know, it was 4.3.1 which no non-nexus device will probably get, that would be stupid-ish, just skip to Kit Kat which would probably be the universal os release with keep that everyone would get.
