Since the 1.6 version comes with a toolkit that lets me adjust my CPU frequency and governor, is it still necessary to have SetCPU installed and/or running?

Any inputs are appreciated. Thanx :)

No, you should use one or the other, not both.

If you want to use profiles to clock it down for screen off, battery less than, charging, etc. then you'll need to use SetCPU.
You can use both.

You'll notice in the CPU settings in the BAMF toolkit, there's a governor choice.
This governor choice also flows with the Set CPU profiles.

Where do I find that toolkit? I have Das BAMF 1.6 and I just visited my app tray and don't see what you're referring to.

In the app drawer... "Das DAMF Toolkit" If it's not there I don't know.

Sounds like it...

Debloat: Very few extra features from stock. Contains filesystem, and memory tweaks, as well as my kernel.
NTE: Full featured, but does not contain very many theme elements, and very little modification to Rosie, aka the launcher.
Remix: Full featured, plus additional theme elements and graphical tweaks.
