Setting up BBM

On my AT&T Samsung Galaxy S3, I installed BBM today (had it earlier in the week, then removed it), and after logging into it, it sits at the "Setting up BBM" screen with the spinning circle.

Any ideas?

1. I have the latest OS official from AT&T
2. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it
3. I cleared the cache and tried again

...all with the same results.
 
Once the app is running, go into Applications, force stop BBM, then go into the app drawer and relaunch it. That worked for me.
