Setup as New Device?

Just got a pixel xl as a second device. I have a moto z force. I set the pixel up as a new device concerned with importing settings from a different device.

Now I have to download everything, not the end of the world.

If I want to factory reset and import instead, will it ask what device to import from and are there issues importing from a Z force or am I best just. Manually setting it all up?

I do not have a crazy amount of apps.

Both are on Verizon.

Transferring my stuff from a Turbo 2 to the Pixel xl was easy until looking in the app settings and finding all the Moto apps installed. Went right factory reset and started as a new phone.
