My wi-fi gets hung on "turning on" and then becomes grayed out.. I've done a factory reset.. all to no avail.
I just bought a SGS4 -- 1337M. The device was locked on to the Rogers network, and I had it unlocked.
I am on the Bell network, but since having it unlocked, Telus icons showed up on my screen.
I'm running Android 4.3. The wi-fi worked for a brief period after having it unlocked and then won't get passed the "turning on" phase.
Now, when I factory reset the phone, the Wi-fi scans and I'm able to see available networks but then it becomes greyed out and I cannot get passed the "turning on phase"
Please help. I'm thinking of rooting the phone, but don't want to void the warranty.
