So I have been noticing since i purchased my Galaxy S3 that the Haptics feedback disappears from time to time, to which I have to go back into my settings and reset it back to on. I was wondering if there was anyone else out there that was having this issue.

I've found that haptic feedback definitely stops working, although it still says its on in my settings. After a reboot its fine again. Definitely some kinda bug

Do you have power saving mode enabled? I noticed that when it's in powersaving mode it turns off haptic feedback.

I called into Samsung and they said that some third party apps can cause it to turn itself off. The guy said that the best thing to do is do a hard reset. Not the funnest thing to do. So i did that today and i havent noticed if haptics has gone off yet.

This. I thought I had the same issue for a while and finally found that power saving was doing it. There is an option within power saving so that even if Haptic is showing turned on it will turn it of to conserve battery. Uncheck that and you should be fine. At least I was, have not had an issue since then.

I've also been having problems with the haptic feedback on my phone. I've done a factory reset already and the problem persists. It may seem petty, but I really enjoy the feedback and am a little disappointed that a brand new phone is already experiencing a glitch like this. AT&T refused to swap the phone with a new one due to it not being a hardware issue. Hopefully an update will be released to correct this.

Do you have power saving mode on???

No. Power Saving mode is off, Vibration Intensity is set to maximum and the feedback is still barely noticable. A guy that I work with let me hold his to do a comparison, and there was a significant difference. The phone isn't even 36 hours old.

Never really been a fan of haptic. Turned it off since day 1

i found a setting for haptic feedback in Sound settings, right at the bottom of list theres Auto Haptic. click the word Auto Haptic and it lets you switch haptic on/of for each app. dont know if that helps but when i first got the phone (i use PowerAmp music player) it seemed to vibrate a LOT when listning to music and i thought it was the speaker but then i noticed it still vibrates with headphones in lol so had to turn off haptic feedback for PowerAmp.. it was vibrating in time to the music for some mad reason :)

Sorry for the delayed responce. Yes this was infact what was happening. After reading this I went into my powersaving mode settings and deactivated the haptics spot. Thanks
