Seems fun! I can't take myself away from gesture nav long enough to go back to Nova. It's been a few years now.

Yeah gestures is exactly why I gave up on Nova years ago as well. But playing around with this third party gesture app I downloaded, it's a pretty good substitute with additional features available. Aside from one-handed I'm not finding myself missing the native gestures ... I'm not too keen on the accessibility shortcut on my navigation bar, but I'm making it work.

For me, with native gestures on Nova the swipe up to go back to home was always finicky and not very smooth. Other than that all was good for me, but that was enough to drive me nutty LOL

I set my transitions to .5 X does seem to keep the transitions smooth about 95% of the time

Hmmm ... I'd give it a try, but I think I'm already spoiled by the additional functions the third party app offers LOL

OK, I had to drop mine on here finally. Just changed it out and went back to Microsoft Launcher over the default Pixel launcher. That wallpaper is an AI generated image of Batman in the style of a Spartan from 300.
