Is there a way to share something with a single person, kind of like a PM?

Just start typing their name in the share box. Or if you're like me and you have a few people you are often sharing privately with, give them their own circle.

Do u have to be mutual friends or followers, or can I do this for someone who doesn't have me in their circles?

You can do it for anyone assuming they don't have you blocked.
