Sound hound is definitely a better app than shazam. Sometimes shazam fail to identify certain songs being played.

It doesn't work. It doesn't tell you the name of the song.

Hmm that's odd, so it's just the RAZR that's giving the app problems? Just used the app today with my OG Droid, worked fine. Must be an isolated issue.

VCast Song ID is great if it shows up for this device (doesn't for the Rezound).

Seems as though Shazam is having issues since the latest update based on reviews over the past few days, so haven't updated it here. As others have said, try SoundHound. Both have their plusses and minuses. If one doesn't work for one song, try the other.
