Should I buy Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra now or wait for the next Nexus 7 (or Pixel 7)?

My Nexus 7 (2013) is starting to act up, many times the LCD is acting weird (ghost touch), also down volume button is not as responsive as before

The table is functioning OK, just few little details.

Anyway, I have search for new devices and one that come close to 7 inch is the Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra, but reading the review says that there are many bloatware

I wonder if Google is going to release Pixel 7. If so, when?

Rumors of a 2016 Nexus 7 are still just that -- rumors. If it does become reality, my guess is that it will probably be more like 1st or 2nd quarter of 2017.

Also, be aware that the Zenfone 3 Ultra's resolution is 1920x1080, which for a screen that large might not look as crisp as you'd like. If there is a new Nexus 7 tablet, the resolution would most likely be quadHD (2560x1440).
