Specs aren't everything.

M8 will be faster because of the obscene amount of pixels that the G3 will need to be pushing

The g3 is rumored to have better specs (processor, ram) and a better screen, so I don't see how it could be slower than the M8 when the hardware is going to do a good job supporting the software...

More pixels makes the CPU/GPU work harder. BUT if it has the 805 that should not be an issue. Okay?

Doesn't a processor help these types of things.........?

*facepalm*

Okay, not to be demeaning but your grasp of terms is a little weak. Let me be clear.

The One M8 has about two megapixels on its screen. The G3 is *rumored* to have about 3.7 megapixels, or 75-80% more dots that need to be updated every time the picture changes. In practical terms, this actually should reduce performance by about 10-30%, not cut you frame rate in half.

IF the G3 has a Snapdragon 805, its CPU (processor) and GPU (graphics) should be fast enough to run a 3.7 mpix screen AT LEAST as smoothly as the G2 or G Pro 2 ran their 2 mpix screens on a Snapdragon 800. If it has an 800, 801 or the experimental Odin chip I believe the G3 would be slower feeling than most current superphones.

Hoping we get a clear answer very soon.
