My wife has the S5 and likes it, while I have the S6 and like it. The S5 is water resistant, but the S6 has more memory, higher resolution, better cameras and is faster. Some will argue that the S5 has better battery life, but battery life is largely tied to signal, apps, and usage so you really can't say the S5 is better. One downside to the S5 is that Samsung will stop updating it about a year before they stop updating the S6. I'd get the S6, or wait until March/April and get the S7.

S6 hands down. All good points mentioned above. The s5 will not see an update after Android M.
