I'm going to be getting a plan with Verizon on Friday this is one of the phones that I was thinking about getting. How is the battery life? What are the pros and cons of the phone?

Battery life is awesome! Its no RAZR maxx, but very few are. I can easily get all day out of my battery. I pull it off the charger at 5am and usually plug it back in around 10pm with about 25% battery left. I have not experienced any lag or slowness. I've had mine since mid December. The thing flies. I don't really have anything bad to say about it, but I still think it's sexy. I just love it.

I've had the razr m and can also vouch for its excellent battery life. My problem with the phone was that it had connection problems with my home router, and when it did it killed my battery. When things were good, I'd get about 14-18hrs heavy usage.

If battery life is the most important thing then you can't beat the razr maxx hd it has the best of any Android device with stock battery. But not owning any of the mentioned devices I can't speak from experience just what I have read and from people I know who have them. From what I understand though most of the new razr line are very good and get good reviews. So I think any way you go you will get a good device. (I would go for M or maxx though if you had to narrow it down depending on what you're looking for)

Also there are going to be many new devices announced in the next few days and have been announced in the past few that would be taking note of if you are looking for a top of the line or flagship device.

My GF had this phone and I actually liked it better than the Galaxy Nexus I had. Felt great in hand, was snappy, I never noticed lag. Battery was great for her, all she did was play games, not shoters or action games, facebook light browsing, lots of texting and calls. Would easily last all day for here with LTE on. Only con for me was the screen wasn't as crisp as the nexus, and size. Was a little small for me but she liked the size.
Also got the 4.2 update quick, faster then the Galaxy Nexus on Verzion.

I went to Verizon with intentions of getting a Razr Maxx becuase im a really heavy user and the battery life was very important to me. After playing around with both, I went with the Razr M and I am very happy with it. The battery is much better than the BB 9900 I came from. And I prefer the more compact size to the Razr Maxx. Screen size is perfect too. All of my friends and family with iphone 5's like this phone better than their iphones. Plus it's a steal for the price it's going for.

My wife and I picked up the M about a month ago and we love it. I had the droid inc and she had the thunderbolt previously. Battery life is great. No complaints from either of us.
