hey guys please help me i'm going to buy a new phone and i've heard about the problems in the N5...shortly i want a mobile that i can use fb,whats app, games, camera, music(with loud volume),other applications for about 6-9 hours and a pone with a good UI and can be updated to the newer versions of android and with fast internet connection so should i go for nexus 5 or do you recommend another mobile...thank you in advance :D

Nice phone had one for a bit reason it went back was do to poor reception... I could not get signal where normally I would have 1 to 2 bars. Now I'm on s4 and love it good signal strength and awesome battery life with moderate use.
Lots out there for sure ,thing I miss is kit Kat .

If you're looking for something with 6 to 9 hours of screen on time per charge then look elsewhere. I know people rooted and custom kernel and power saving can get 5+ hours but I consider that extreme. On all day use for me running stock if I get 3 hours of screen on time I am about ready for a charge.

I get around 3 hours of screen on time with my Nexus 5. Its a great phone but if you want really good battery life then I'd look elsewhere.

Sent from my Nexus 5

lets say that i'll use whats app and facebook/ fb messenge and may be some music with low or average brightness..can you tell me please the expected battery lifetime for this usage

I still get 4 hours of screen on time and I bought the phone at launch. Have been previously rooted and used franko kernal and this went up to 5 hours. I would say I an a moderate to heavy user with mixed media and apps use. I only switch on location and Bluetooth if I need them and don't auto sync my email.

I have so far seen a stock battery boost on android L.

Nexus 5 is still a great phone for the price.
