Should I keep iPhone 5s or Note 3?

Re: Should I keep Iphone 5s or Note 3?

You will get used to the size with the Note 3. When I had it, it took about a couple of days and then the phone seemed to be just right and my iPhone 5 seemed tiny. But then I went to the 5S and I was able to adjust to the size of that in just a couple of days and now that seems to feel just right. So don't let the size deter you from getting the device that you want because you will ultimately adjust to it.

well all I can say is I came from an IPhone 4 it was simple and easy. the note 3 was a no brainer screen size more user settings and just as easy to use as the iPhone.
I always thought the note 3 was to large too but since using it for 2 weeks for me to go back squinting isn't an option.
what it comes down to is personal preference so let that be your guide.

good luck

Re: Should I keep Iphone 5s or Note 3?

I recently switched from an iPhone 5 to a Note 3...yes the Note 3 is rather large, and will take some getting used to but I'm learning to love it. I'm not totally opposed to iPhones, and would go back if Apple would start to pack the same features as Android because I feel the iPhone is much more polished than Android devices. However, I love all of the features the Android has versus the iPhone such as customization, open ecosystem, NFC and just flat out more options, especially for the $. I would make the switch to the Note 3 and see what Apple comes out with next. Just my two cents ;)

But can you customize the iPhone?

It's a nice problem to have! I do think you will get used to the size of the Note 3 in your pocket, but I don't know how big your hands are. If you can use the Note 3 one handed, I think I would have to go with that as the screen is so lush. Having said that, the iPhone is superb too, and is great in the hand as you say. Many people can't use the Note 3 one handed and that's a big thing, I think. If you're into the whole Apple integration thing stick with the iPhone.

I'm sure you'll be happy whatever you choose!

iPhone 5S. I still think it's the best phone out right now with the Note 3 in a close second.

It's just a matter of preferences. If you like to customize your phone, changing the launcher, using other app as the default, like the note 3 s-pen & features you keep the note3.

About the size? Well, i like 5-inch phone what about you?

Not sure if OP has made up his/her mind but like every said this is an Android forum so the replies will be biased

However your decision will be based on what you use your phone mostly for

I went from an iPhone 5 to the Note 3 recently and love it. I switched mostly for the larger screen like most people I assume. However after switching I found more I love with the Note 3. More customizable, etc

On a side note. My wife refuses to leave the iPhone 5 but she doesn't use her phone as much as me, and doesn't mind the smaller screen.

I would say to only purchase the note 3 if you think you can get over the large screen size. I've owned both phones personally and I could not get the hang of the screen size at all! If I had close between the two, I would certainly go with the iPhone.

That being said, I did end up selling my iPhone and note 3 and purchased the nexus 5 which I love!

Also, I can't stand Samsung's locked down way of controlling their software... Feels a little too much like apple to me!

There are ways around this eg rooting and flashing a custom ROM which will allow you to remove the Samsung pre-installed apps. The performance of the note 3 however allows you to keep said apps without effecting your daily use.

But if you want to free up ram and space then its certainly an option and there are loads of great ROMs, I'm currently using X-Note on my Note 3 and it gives me ultimate control.

IPhone does have the more manageable screen size but in my personal opinion its far to small and you will get accustomed to the 5.7" of the Note 3. IOS is dull and boring where as android you can always keep things fresh.

The end decision is yours obviously and what you find most comfortable.

Sure, if you want to 0x1 your Knox and have a field day trying to use your warranty.

There might eventually (again) be a way around that, but Samsung has attempted to thwart those attempts more than once.

I'm sure Samsung will do their best to prevent you from customizing with other ROMS or gaining root access.
