My trial period is almost up. I am still debating if I should stick to the T-Mobile G2 or get the Atrix. I'm so confused. :( I'm currently on AT&T trying out the T-Mobile G2. Any help with this decision will be greatly appreciated.

You have a G2 on the At&t network? Why would you punish yourself by being on edge all the time? Get a phone that is meant to be on the network. If you really like the G2, I'm sure there are desire Z that will give you 3g on at&t

I'm using the G2 on TMobile's network and it's super fast. I have the Blackberry Bold 9700 on AT&T. I'm in a 14 day trial period with the G2. I love it.

I may be biased but I would dump at&t. To me T-Mobile has the better plans and the better network, especially if you live in a "4G" area for the time being before at&t moves to LTE.

Go with the best network... the best smartphone in the world will do you no good on a bad network... if they are basically the same, then go with the best device.

Personally, I tried the G2 and found I did not like the physical keyboard, returned it and waited for the myTouch4G.

I'm had my G2 for a couple of months. I use the physical keyboard rarely (mostly because of swype) but I still love the phone. I tend to enjoy phones without the manufacturer's skin. I hear the Atrix is a very nice phone. However, because I live in the SF bay area I don't consider AT&T a viable option.

I haven't had a single issue with mine... although I have a friend who's had MicroSD issues

It depends on how much you like the physical keyboard. If you absolutely need a physical keyboard then the G2 is for you. If you don't use the keyboard then I would go for the ATRIX.

Locked bootloader and moto blur is what is going to kill the atrix. Had such high hopes for something like that. Oh well. Moto just couldn't help themselves.

I came from a 9700 to a g2 (both tmobile). I was once a hardcore believer in the physical keyboard, so I decided if I went android I would choose the g2. After a while with the g2's physical keyboard it really wasn't growing on me, and I thought I would go back to the 9700. I then decided to learn the touch keyboard and realized how amazing predictive text is. It didn't take long until I was typing 2 to 3 times faster than I ever did on my 9700.

I still get use out of physical keyboard when I need to input a username and password or type in a web address that isn't in the phone's dictionary. As far as functionality between the phones and the speed of 4g network, there is no comparison. Everthing I loved about my blackberry I found in app form from the market.

So do you still have the G2 or did you switch to another phone?

I played with the Atrix. I wasn't impressed by it. Purhaps it was because it had motoblur which is kind of ugly compared to the UI on the G2 and the Sense UI which is beautiful. lol
