Should i restore the backup?

Hi guys! I recently got a Lg g3 but had to exchange it for a new since it had a problem. So i used the option "lg backup" and did a backup to the sd card. So i got the new phone and immediately updated to 5.0 and did an hard reset. My question is, does restoring the backup bring any harm since i did it on another phone? Or should i start from scratch? Thanks!

I can't imagine that being a problem. Put the new phone to 5.0 and restore your data from the SD back up
