Should I upgrade to 4.4.2 KitKat

Hi!
I am from India. I have ordered a Note 3 Neo and its on the way. I have heard so many people complaining about the 4.4.2 update and how unstable is it and how problems started after updating to 4.4.2. Has this been solved? Should I update? I can live without an updated version than an unstable one.
Also, how to get other updates without the 4.4.2 one. How many updates did you receive before the kitkat package like some system updates? Please help.
Thanks

Re: Should I upgrade to 4.4.2 KitKat

I run 4.4.2 on the Note 3. It should work about the same way on the Neo. Aside from the fact that the external SD card is now a real part of the filesystem, there's no problem with it.

A bad OTA update (and the way Android does OTA updates is begging for problems) could cause the problems you're reading about.

I had no problems with 4.3, and put off updating until Geohot came out with a way to root 4.4.2, and I really don't see much difference between 4.3 and 4.4.2 as far as performance (speed is about the same, battery life is about the same, etc.), but I have no problems since the update that were caused by the update. (Flashing a keyboard as if it were a ROM is a bad idea, but I did that, the update didn't.)
