I had the 7edge my my s8+ kicks it's butt. Love it. Beautiful design, fast, no lag, great battery, great photos, great everything (just not an s pen like Note 7 had lol)

S6 was a lag fest for me, so bad I traded it for an iphone.

S8 plus gives you a way better phone.

I saw the S8+ and as happy as I was with the S7 edge the 8+ beats and I went for it. My wife traded her S7 in for the S8 when she saw it.

I followed the same upgrade path and I can say it's quite an improvement. Speed, display and battery life are much improved over the S6E+. I say go for it.

I came from the v20 and note 7 and it was an upgrade to both. Minor upgrade to the note 7, but still an upgrade.

Only you would know whether or not it's worth it to upgrade. The specs are the specs, but how you feel about your current device and whether it still serves your needs is a personal choice.
