Should I use a launcher on the S7?

Following on from the stock android thread that was posted, how much difference does a launcher make to touchwiz?
My last Samsung was a S3lte and I hated touchwiz so much I bought a nexus.
Now launchers are available does it minimise how much you see TW?
With all the extra apps isn't the phone wanting updating all the time?
How much has TW improved since then?

Sorry for so many vague open-ended questions and thanks in advance..

I like using Nova launcher personally, but Google launcher might be better for you if you like stock Android.a launcher does help to minimize touchwiz.

TouchWiz has improved a lot since the day, imo.

I like various launchers as they give my devices a whole new look. Good suggestions here. Nova seems to come out as the king of launchers in popularity. There are many good reasons for that obviously. I think launchers are good for changing up the whole UI of your phone. Whenever I feel the need for something new I just change the launcher and it's like having a new phone. For the OP, try Nova for yourself and see how you like it, but don't stop there, try several, not all at once , but over time. I usually have my fav launchers saved and ready to go depending on my mood of the day or just on a whim. This is what makes android so superior to apple. We can change it up. they aren't allowed. So change it up all you want. You can always come back to your default launcher anytime. you probably won't tho. LoL

EDIT: Maybe go by the ratings of the launcher at first. Anything below 4.0 has usually got some issues. Just uninstall what you don't like and keep tweaking what you do like and save those.
Something else I find helpful when shopping for a launcher is to do it from a laptop or desktop machine. Easier and quicker to check them out and get a better idea. Then just get it on and enjoy tweaking it to your preferences.

Yes on certain variants through Galaxy labs.
