Android Central Question

I was thinking of getting a mid range tablet - specifically the Samsung Galaxy Tab A - but wasn't quite sure if I should wait for the 2018 version or not. I read that it would come with a 32GB internal storage, which is more preferable than the 16GB on the 2016 S pen version.

I'll mainly be using it for uni and drawing, but would also be storing quite a lot of apps on there too. I thought that I might be able to get away with the 16GB version if I move my apps onto a second partition on a microsd card via app2sd, but I'm not entirely sure if doing that, plus removing most of the bloatware would still be sufficient enough. The only thing that is making me lean towards the 2016 version is that I can get it now, it's cheaper, and that I'm not sure how much longer I'll have to wait for the 2018 version.
