Should I wait?

I am planning on switching to verizon at the end of the month or early next month and I was thinking about getting the thunderbolt, but i do not have 4g in my area yet. The verizon site says it will arrive in my area sometime this year. My question is, should I get the thunderbolt or should I wait till something like the incredbile 2 comes out and get it and wait till 4g is rolled out in my area and then get a 4g compatible phone?

I would go with the Thunderbolt. That way you can get grandfathered into the unlimited 4G for 29.99 if they move to tiered pricing in the future.

Check the coverage locator on the Verizon website. I just found out today that I live in a LTE market. Besides, it will still be a beast in 3g areas, and you get the benifit of 29.99 unlimited data, which is sure to go away this summer...

I would pass on the TB if you don't have LTE --- There should be several LTE's out in the next couple of months - Bionic etc... with better spec's than the TB. If this was the Bionic then I'd say go for it but not with the TB. We don't know when the unlimited will go away but I'd bet it will not be before May.

I would get it and get the unlimited lte plan.
To me htc and sense are the best on android. I don't think you can go wrong.
Moto has the locked boot loader and dare I say, blur. Sammy puts out nice phones but leaves them to rot. They never update it. The only phone I would consider if I didn't live in a LTE area would be the Inc 2 .

That would be a good idea. The only thing I am worried about by doing that is when the droid bionic is released I am getting it and idk if I will still be able to keep the unlimited plan with the bionic.
