Should my 6 edge plus edue plus be burning

PLEASE CAN YOU HELP
I've brought myself the Samsung galaxy 6 edge plus about two weeks ago and on the 2nd night of using it it begun to majorly overheat whilst charging to point it is to hot to touch with my hand I thought I'd wait to see if it stopped and it's still doing it! What should I do? Or what is wrong? I'm worried it might stop working all togetherif this proceeds to happen!
