Is there a way to have the phone numbers show up in my contacts instead of all the social networking info? Many of my friends have multible numbers and it just feels like I'm trying to solve a puzzle when I go to call them. All I want is to be able to click on their name, and then select which number to call (mobile/home/work).

I know that there are launchers and widgets and all that would help, but I would really prefer to use the contacts list. This is the one and only thing I miss from my blackberry.

Any ideas?

I agree 100%. Is it too much to ask to be able to view phone numbers when you look up someone's contact info??

not looking good for a fix.... I've been trying to delete the linked FB account to see if that would help, but after several errors and a little research, this task seems to be impossible. I've even tried the "airplane mode" idea, but that didn't work either.

I deleated facebook from My Accounts and then uninstalled the social whatever app. Now I get numbers to choose from when I call someone.

You all could have saved yourself the trouble by simply changing the view of the list from "All" to "Google" or "Phone Contacts". Viola.

You do that from selecting the "Contacts" icon, tapping the "Contacts" bar, and selecting "Google" or "Phone Contacts".

If you want a number from your FB contacts to be native to your Google contacts you will have to manually enter and save it there.

If you brought your contacts over via Google Sync, then select Google Contacts. My only complaint is the phone will revert to "All" on its own regularly, requiring you to revert the view back to "Google". Its just an extra two taps but annoying. I wish the phone would just require manual reversion rather than doing it on its own.

For me the ALL view is a terror because I have over a thousand FB contacts.

I for some reason just cannot remove the facebook account. Every time i try it comes up with "an error has occured. please try again." I've tried toggling airplane mode (another thread gave me that idea) and all it does is act like its working, but just sits there and does nothing. Tried it after rebooting, and still no luck.

As for the google contacts/phone contacts: even then, when i press on their name, it takes me right back to all their info, not their #s.
