I have a new LG V30+. The music sounds OK with the headphones it comes with (not great, but OK). I wanted to use my trusty Shure SE535 headphones, but there's some kind of problem. When I plug them in and there's almost anything at all going on on the phone, there's a really annoying buzzing sound. It goes away when I'm just on the home screen, but do almost anything else on the phone -- even have the lock screen up -- and the buzz comes back. The connector/cable on the Shures is the usual headset one (inline mic) and looks visually identical to the LG headset. The Shures work fine on my Galaxy S7 Edge. Any ideas?

Does it do it with other headphones?

Thanks for the reply! It seems to have been a slightly flaky mmcx cable - went away with a new cable. Odd that it didn't show up with my Galaxy, but whatever!

Might not have been noticable with a less powerful amp.
