Sick and tired of waiting for this phone to be available. What other phone is there?

Man I never sell old devices I normally hold them back as just in case and development devices.

ya me either. I pass them down to my kids. Then they are usually beaten to death.

When did the n4 come out? It seems like its taking a long time to fix the supply channel.. or Google is loosing too much money?

The Nexus 4 will most likely be back in stock soon. They're probably trying to fill the current orders first, and stockpiling so they can keep it in stock for a while. There aren't many phones that you can get new that are comparable in this price range.

Came out in November. Completely ridiculous.

I just had dinner with a friend who has an iphone5. Honestly it looked like a small toy compared to my Nexus. Don't get me wrong. It is a well crafted device, but everything was so small I could barely read anything on the screen. He was even showing me some photos and I couldn't help but think how small everything was. And for double the price.

My wife has the iPhone 5, it's a nice piece of kit. Beautiful screen (even if it is tiny) and fantastic build quality. But geez, it's small. I had to type a text for her once and it drove me nuts not being able to swipe the keys. Talk about hunt and peck. The autocorrect too is crazy aggressive, but at least that can add some humor.

Quad-core makes the N4 noticeably better than the GNex IMO...I refuse to even look at my GNex until Ubuntu is available for it - it's at the bottom of my pile, LoL.

Come February/March though...

As much as I like my Galaxy Nexus, I have to agree. After seeing the Ubuntu demo, I'll definitely be giving it a try. I have noticed that the GNex does lag quite a bit when under pressure. However, I don't regret buying it one bit. I didn't want to take a chance waiting for the Nexus 4. And nothing against Verizon, but I refused to pay $100/month for another month lol ;)

The next best phone that is around this price is S3 but it doesn't have as much benefits as the Nexus 4. The GNex can be found for 220 if you want and it isn't that much worse than the Nexus 4.
The backo f the GNex is UGLY compared to the Nexus 4.

S3 would not be at same price as nexus 4, unless you are buying used or signing up for a 2 year contract. other than the chinese phones, there are no phones of the level of hardware and software of the nexus 4 for the same price
