Side Lock Button Appears to be Malfunctioning on my S8

Hi,

I’ve noticed that the side lock button on my S8 seems to be malfunctioning. In the past a quick press would lock the phone but I’m having to press it a lot longer. A couple of times through force of habit it’s resulted in me not locking the phone and putting it in my pocket.

I was just wondering if there is a fix for this or if I’m missing something, since I don’t really want to set up a new phone.
