How do I do this?
When I use the Android File Transfer program I can't find the place to put the books?
Anyone?

Do you know what "side loading" means? I'm trying to put some mobi format books that I bought from Baen Books on the Note 7 so I can read them with the Kindle app. On the iPhone, previous Android devices I've had, and the Kindle Oasis, you simply copy the files to a kindle directory and they appear. I can't find any folder on the Note 7 to put them in.

If you bang on something long enough you might get some results. I thought I'd put my solution here incase someone else want to put unlocked mobi files on their Note and read with the Kindle app.
I used Android File Transfer to read the storage on the Note - make sure you enable file transfer in the usb settings notification that pops us when you connect - and put your files in the phone/Android/data/com.amazon.kindle/files directory.
When you open the Kindle app they should just appear when you select On Device.

I dont know if its still around, haven't downloaded it for my new pc, but there was a program called calibur that worked pretty well
