i can't get the SWM to load the siriusXM app. when the dos window opens i get the following:
'loader.bat' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

C:\Documents and Settings\Trader\My Documents\apps\siriusxm>

please help!

What version of Windows are you using?
Where did you unzip the SWM folder?
Are you running SWM from a shortcut, or from the program icon itself?

It's a PATH error, and I'm unsure why some people see it, and others don't. I sure wish I did so I could troubleshoot it!

thx.
Windows XP SP3
Unziped the SWM folder into a new folder named apps within My Docs
I go directly to the folder named above to find the AndroidCentral-SWM.exe file!
FYI, I was originally getting a .net framework error, so I updated that to version 4.
Thanks again...any help is much appreciated!!!

So after updating the .NET framework, you see the SWM application's window right? Sounds like it, as you're able to continue :p

Try this for me please.

In the SWM folder, is the file named loader.bat and a file named adb.exe. These have to be in your PATH (generic name for the places Windows looks for applications if you don't specify a location).

Normally, Windows will look in the application's folder by default. For some reason (and it's mostly XP users) this doesn't happen all the time. The SWM was written to look for the files I mentioned above in the application folder as well as the computer's PATH, and this fixes it for most people. Most being the key word here :)

If you could, try copying (not moving, make a copy) of:
Code:
loader.bat
adb.exe
from the SWM folder, and placing the copies in C:\Windows\ ? Just plop them right in the Windows folder. If you don't feel comfortable doing this, I understand. I just need to see how a computer that has the PATH bug in the SWM acts when the 2 files are placed in the default computer PATH.

Thanks in advance!

OK, sorry about the delay!
I did exactly as you asked...it seemed to make the SWM think it was working...the dos screen had me press any key to continue and told me that if I did not see an error that everything installed.
1. it did not list my serial number
2. I could not find the app even though it told me it installed.
So then i tried it with my usb connection set to sync...it listed my serial number, but then gave an error.
I tried again with the connection set to charge only and got the following:
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
Android Central Sideload Wonder Machine v. 1.1
Make sure your phone is plugged in, and
USB debugging is enabled on your phone
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

List of devices attached

You should see the serial number of your Android
phone above. If so, continue. If not, make sure
you have installed the USB driver for your phone,
and make sure that USB debugging is enabled.

Press any key to continue . . .
Installing application

can't find 'payload\*.apk' to install

If you do not see an error, everything was
successful. After exiting the program,
you may unplug your Android phone and
your application should be installed.
You will now be returned to the Android
Central Sideload Wonder Machine and can
install another app if you wish.
Press any key to continue . . .

Regards

I went to the samsung download page and tried to install the drivers but when i click on the .exe file to install i get a "setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application".

Im on Win XP SP3

Help, been trying to get this .apk file to test for weeks now!
