Sidesync keyboard - Shift doesn't work

Sidesync is awesome! I've only had it setup on one computer so far (OSX). When typing I can't get the shift key on my keyboard to work. Anyone know of a way to fix this?

I've tried everything I can think of.

Does anyone have this working on their computer where the shift key on keyboard works?
