Sigh, unhappy new Andriodian

I was so happy with my new Andriod Galaxy S Captivate. I've had it for 2 months now and have essentially lived off of it. Now it's going through all kinds of problems, First it shut off, wouldn't charge then I got a stupid little character digging a hole saying downloading, do not turn off target and my phone wasn't even connected to anything. Now Roger's says bring it in and we see if we can repair it. If we can't repair it we'll get you a new one. By the way a loaner phone will cost you $50. Really, I spent $500 smackers on this phone and not only that we bought 2. Good thing I still have an old P.O.S. that I can use. Who knows how long this will take. And everyone that I have spoken to from Samsung and from Rogers keeps asking if I did an update, hah, that's funny. I finally figured out how to use the scheduler let alone update it. Boo, I'm soooo sad. I came here looking for answers too, same thing, no help. Oh well, guess I'll get my phone back... sometime. :'(

Welcome to AC.. Sounds like your phone installed a software or system update which requires the phone to reboot itself. Its normal and benificial to the phone.. enjoy the forums.

When i had my captivate i had similar problems. Once i rooted it and and flashed the cognition rom and fixed it.
