signal help! newbie!

Hello all,

Well I have an issue that I hope someone can help my out on.
At home I get a 3/4 bar that is blue in color.
At my job I get maybe 1 bar that is blue, someday's its no bars or 1 grey bar.

I have noticed that when I have a grey bar does not matter how many that I have to reboot the phone for it to get a signal with back to 3G. I miss emails, updates, etc, only seems to be good for phone calls when its a grey bar system.

Is this a problem with all GN?, my phone?, or the bad radio inside the phone?

Is there a fix to allow the phone to reconnect properly?

Please search through the forums before creating a thread, this specific issue is in a sticky at the top of the forum thats rather hard to miss.

this is a known issue with this phone. This phone shows fewer signal bars both because it reads bars differently than most other phones and because the radios are not as strong as, say motorola phones.

When the signal bars go grey you receive no data. The easiest way to fix is to put your phone into airplane mode for about 30 seconds then to take it out of airplane mode. When it comes back it should re-establish data. this issue should be fixed with the next official OTA arrives.
