CM allows you to change the icon from 4G to a predefined text (not "LTE"). If you want it to say LTE you need to edit the .xml files/graphics that would be associated with such a change. That's out of my scope, perhaps there is a theme in the Play Store with that mod built in.Does anyone know how to change the signal icons in CyanogenMod?I want to "4G" icon to show LTE and the "H" icon to be 4G. Ah, yeah, that means you probably need to root the device and install a custom ROM/theme to have the LTE icon instead of the 4G icon.Tried one called "ROM Toolbox pro" and it rebooted with the 4G LTE icon from Verizon but it didn't work

I am rooted, but it still didn't work. Booted into recovery and told me to flash the LTE icon file and it said reboot, icons were the sameAh, yeah, that means you probably need to root the device and install a custom ROM/theme to have the LTE icon instead of the 4G icon.
