When i am in my apartment i get no service. When i go outside 5 mins of me being out side i finally receive service is there a way to fix this

Only in that it probably is on the Sprint towers, and Sprint often has poor coverage of many areas. I have a phone on a Sprint MVNO and often it won't even ring when I get a call. You can still contact the company you got the phone from and ask them if there's anything they can do. There probably isn't, but it's worth it to let them know the coverage isn't good.

ETA: I just googled to find out and I guess depending on the company you got the phone from you could also be on the Verizon network (subsidiary of Tracfone). Anyway, it's a network issue. The tower signal isn't strong enough in this case to penetrate indoors. The phone also might have sub par radios.
