Signal strength after update

Same here, I thought it was just me. It disconnected a call on me yesterday where I normally have service.

My signal strength is unchanged after the update . ( T-mobile ) I checked the digits not the bars .

Yep I would trust the actual signal strength numbers in your phone menu over the bar indicator. Those indicators are more for rough estimates than absolute signal strength representations.

My signal strength is also unchanged.... I'm with AT&T.

Very low signal strength for me and my wife as well

I called Verizon, they said there is an issue all along the southern US border due to a mexican carrier starting up using the same frequency, it's really bad 0-10 miles from the boarder, gets better the farther away you go. I'm 50 miles away and I get 1 or 2 bars max.

This started 2 weeks ago, yes I was on Beta 6 but my wife was still on Pie and had the same issue

Often takes 60-90 seconds to place calls, lots of static, echoing and dead spots...

I'm in Oklahoma City and only have 1-2 bars...

I am on TMobile and signal is still the same
Only Wi-Fi doesn't reconnect some time

Cell signal has remained unchanged for me, on Verizon. I am noticing constant Wifi drops at home and work. After my phone has been idle for a while, say 10 - 15 minutes, I'll unlock and its off Wifi. I have to manually connect. Happens also at work.

Is this a Verizon only issue? I have T-Mobile and I was thinking about getting the 3a.

complained to Verizon (signal dropped to one/ two bars and dropping calls)... they did some checks ( downloaded a diagnosis app they could access phone..) determined it was due to signal strength .. blamed it on the change over to 5G ? apparently they are having issues with the upgrades with the towers...
the provided me with a " mini cell tower" that we plug in and attached to router...
now have MAX bars..( no cost to me)

I've noticed this too, sometimes even when I'm using my phone it'll do it. Very irritating.

I think it's incredibly odd timing that no one was having or noticing these issues until updating to 10...

My first call to Verizon, the rep said it was due to a Mexico carrier starting up on the same frequency. My case was closed 2 days later as fixed, the solution... turn on Wi-Fi Calling and/or HD calling.

I called again and got a real nice guy from Customer Support, said he had never heard of the Mexican carrier issue. He passed me to support who immediately said it could be to the Mexican carrier.... HUH? After an hour, he finally determined it to be the cell tower that is .5 mile away was having issues. If I go outside the signal strength should go up... Nope. 2 days later I was at my sons house 6 miles away, full service, as soon as I get home, 1-2 bars. The next day my new case was closed as everything is working with the tower, must be my equipment.... hmmm worked fine when connected to another cell tower.

They have no clue. So much for Verizon having superior service
