Signal strength indicator has vanished...

The signal strength indicator in the status bar has gone missing.

The phone works fine and is still on the cellular network...just no signal info.

I've disabled WiFi. I've rebooted. I've cleared the cache. No new apps installed recently.

Here's a screenshot of a 3rd party app showing live (if poor) tower connection along with the empty status area.

Ideas?

Nevermind...

Settings / System UI Tuner / Status Bar. Mobile Data was switched off. No idea how...I don't think I've ever even looked at this settings screen before.
