1st post so if its not in the correct place, mods please move.
I have done a search ? but I can't find anyone with the same complaint. That's unless I'm not using the correct term.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (Verizon) 4.3
After the 4.3 update I noticed the few little changes, only one that is driving me nutz!
Before the update: I would receive a text, phone would ring (using custom tone) I could hit the volume rocker up/dn and it would silence the tone. This is especially helpful when in public, to busy to stop&check the message, and don't care to rock everyone out to 30sec of my favorite metal band.
After the update:
The volume rocker does not silence incoming text notifications. Still works for calls, email, alarms, ect, just not text notifications.
I have gone through every setting that relates to the volume rocker, ect, and no fix found.
I get upwards of 100 texts a day, give or take.
This is driving me completely insane!
