Silence Notificaitons

So, I'm trying to find a way to quickly silence notifications. I tend to use song clips for incoming text messages. Coming from the blackberry, which used basically any button to silence or the magnet in the holster I'm not used to having to open my messaging or my notification panel. Which, by the way... soooo happy I made the switch. There are a few things I miss, but I am loving my ERIS.

Anyone have another solution for me?

for my notifications, I just use one of the stock notification tones...just one quick note. There is nothing to silence. You can also set it to just vibrate or no notification at all.
