Silly Bandz game takes a piece from Angry Birds

Today my daughter comes up to me and says "Hey dad you know that Angry Birds game you and mom have on your phones?" I said yes, she then shows me on her Nintendo DS game Silly Bandz (that kids fad with the different shape rubber bands) a part of the game where it is almost exactly like playing Angry Birds.

You have your launcher, then you shoot different shaped Silly Bandz at objects to knock down/blow up just like in Angry Birds. Its almost like they pulled the Angry Birds right into their game and changed the birds and pigs to different characters/objects.

Wonder if Angry Birds is aware of how close of a rip off this is?

Angry Birds isn't an original concept. It's their execution that's unique and the reason for their success.
