How come when I get a pic mail it shows up as a slide show can I change it?

also my son sent me a 30 second video it said video to large for this device any ideas?

I have often wondered that, too. I have discovered that you can pause the slideshow so you can see the pic for a decent length of time. Maybe that would help you.

yea i figured that out to just wondered if you can change it so you just get a regular pic like all my other phones and why i cant get a 30 sec video strange

I believe there is a limit on the file size you can send with MMS. You should be able to send it as an email attachment.

You have to change the video resolution to QVGA (320 X 240), for it to be able to be sent over the Sprint network.

By the way, check your settings for the video for your device (for sending). There's a setting specifically for MMS. you're able to send the high quality video via MMS. But, a much shorter length. The lower quality setting allows 30 seconds of video on most carriers.

This is just for YOU sending. Regarding changing the settings for received MMS.... ????
