SIM card not being recognized for more then 5 minute

So as the title says I have to continuously turn the phone on and off to get the SIM card working. It took a small fall yesterday and now keeps doing this. Should I take it in for repairs or is there anything I can do. Removing it or wiping it doesn't work just continues with the same problem.

Well, It gives me a feel that your sim card slot is damaged internally, I would say try walking in to the nearest support centre for fixing it up ! I don't think removing it or wiping it is going to help you on this, better to walk for the support centre.
