I keep reading about calling vzw for activation, but you shouldn't have to call anyone. When you ordered the phone and they email the details of your phone plan, they send a micro sim to fit that has all of your info. You should just have to load and go.

It clearly gives you a number to call and activate your new SIM.

My wife just got a Razr. She had to call an automated number to activate the phone change from her previous phone.

Just wondering because i had a bolt and bought a razr retail. When i got it, it came with a micro sim and it said not to call unless there was a problem. All i did was pop it in and it worked great.

That's weird because your active phone should have become deactivated when they did that. I would like it if it worked that way!

As soon as i put the new sim in the razr and turned it on the bolt stopped (i guess, because i traded it in to vzw).
