Question, I ordered LG G2's for myself and for the wife over the weekend. They will be here tomorrow afternoon. I currently have a Galaxy Nexus and the wife has a Galaxy S3. Will we be able to use our same SIM cards or will we need to go to a Verizon store and have everything ported over to the new SIM cards that ship with the new phones?

I thought sim cards were a relatively new thing for Verizon. I don't think the S3 had a sim card (not to be confused with an sd card)

I'm pretty sure that the Galaxy S3 has a micro SIM. I know that there is also an SD card in my wife's phone. I know my phone has a SIM card because I'm holding it right now.

I'm not sure about the S3, but I had a Razr MAXX and when I bought my G2 at a Verison store the rep took the sim from that, put it into the G2 and I was up and running.

You are correct. Just checked my daughters old S3 and there is no removable sim but we have Sprint. Verizon does

Can confirm that the s3 and g2 DO indeed use the same size sim card

Both Sim cards will fit, the only ones different on the market are the new Droids, Moto x, and iPhone...they use the nano size
