My Droid X is starting to have screen issues so a friend is going to let me borrow a T-Bolt until the G-Nex is released. My question is: How do I get a SIM card for it?

Visit corporate store or call customer service. SIM cards are free, but obviously you will get it immediately if you visit the store and have to wait a day or so if you can CS..

So if I was switching from a Droid X to a Charge, could I use the SIM card in my X? Or do I have to go to Verizon to get a new one for the Charge?

The Droid X is not a 4G device and thus does not have a SIM card slot. You may be confusing a SIM card with an MicroSD card. They are two completely different things.

You're right. You know what? I've had this Droid X for a while now and the whole time I was thinking about the crappy BB Storm2 I had before this because I was always pulling the battery out of it. I think I have only pulled the battery on this phone a hand full of times so I forgot what it looked like. I just checked and it's just the battery and SD card. Stupid Blackberry still ruining my life even after it's long gone.

On Verizon only 4G LTE and global devices (most Blackberries and the Droid Incredible 2) have them but they are only used for service outside of the country.

Well my Charge just showed up and Verizon got me a 4G sim card. I love this phone.
