How do I create a simple empty folder on the home screen or multiple folders. I want quick access to a few files and just want them in a simple folder but can't find any way to do that. Everything I've read says create a folder for apps but nothing for creating a simple empty folder. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the link but that app doesn't allow me to make a folder for files..just manage what's already on the phone. Hard to believe I can't just create a simple folder for quick access to files.

Oh files. Just go to the My Files app, long press on a folder/file, then select the 3 dots menu, then select add shortcut.

That will do what you are saying. Go to the file manager and create a new file and name it whatever you want. Remember where it is in the system. The go the file managers widget by pinching the home screen where you want the folder. Navigate to the widget and select it. It will then allow you to navigate to thst folder and place it on the home screen.
