Simple local free GPS app, to see where I am and get me to the next place

I downloaded Sygic GPS but it seems really complicated and convoluted to use. It looks like it's for taking long trips around the country. It appears that I have to put in the state, then the zip code, etc., just to go to each place.

I JUST need a GPS app that will see where I am, and I can out in where I want to go, locally, and it will direct me there, simply and without hassles.

Anyone?

Didn't realize Google Maps could do it, but I think I just figured it out. Thanks!
