simple root

hey guys is there a simple root method for the htc one, i dont really want to unlock my bootloader and install custom roms i just need root, so i was think something like vroot or something like that. has anyone used vroot or similar on there htc one?

You'll need a custom recovery in order to root the device, which means you'll need to unlock the bootloader. It's all a loop.
