One very simple tip to keep your phone snappy and fast is to restart your phone at least once a day .... really works for me

My phone is fast enough as is, but I do agree with you when I had my htc touch pro2, when I restarted it, it would run way smoother

I found with my note it really helped to occasionally clear the memory.

To do this go into task manager, and click on "RAM" at the top, and then click on the clear memory button.

A might immediately follow as the phone loads needed things into ram, but then for some time the flow of the phone is smooth.

What exactly es clearing your ram do? Should I do it? Will it mess up my phone or my apps?

It will close all apps basically. It just empties out any apps that may be hiding something in cache. You will notice your ram drop a lot (the used).

I always just close apps and reboot once a day (usually before passing out to sleep) and you will be good and not have to worry about it :)

Just download fast reboot from the play store. Just as effective as a restart an only takes a second. Usually always fixes any glitches too.

I try to shut my phone off every time I take a shower ..... Just let it rest for 30 mins or so.

"does anyone remember the quick pull app on the old black berry os?"
How far we have come

Ok, dumb question, how do you get to this task manager you are talking about? :-[

Anyone know of a good app to schedule the phone to reboot itself at the same time everyday?
